Seasons of Angel Fire New Mexico Video (5min 20sec) is a beautiful view of one of the truly relaxing, peaceful and utterly beautiful areas of America. Angel Fire is a Winter and Summer resort located in the mountains above Taos just a short and beautiful 20 mile ride over the mountains.

The Moreno Valley is a place almost too beautiful for words. From the thirteenth century to the end of the nineteenth century, Native Americans roamed northern New Mexico's majestic Moreno Valley in the Southern Rockies on their journey toward the Taos Pueblo, a major cultural and trade center. Apache, Comanche, Kiowa, Ute and Plains tribes traveled through the area, and some established encampments.

Local Legend says Native Americans christened the mystical alpine glow "fire of the angels" or "the land of angel fire," which eventually transpired into the present-day name Angel Fire.

Today, Angel Fire is a top four-season, family-oriented destination resort community in the Southern Rocky Mountains of Northeast New Mexico. More than a ski or golf resort, Angel Fire is an 18,450-acre, year-round Mecca for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds.

In winter you can traverse miles of well-groomed downhill and cross-country ski trails, or partake in snow boarding, snow biking, ice skating, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiblading, tubing, horseback riding and ice fishing.

In spring, summer and fall you can golf on the 6,641-yard, par 72, 18-hole PGA-rated golf course, go lake and river fishing, take a horseback ride, go for a hike, take a mountain bike journey, ride the chairlift to the 10,650-foot peak, play tennis, miniature golf or disc golf, take a relaxing wagon ride or an exciting ATV tour.

Visit: Edd Geoffroy's Real Estate Web Site "Last summer my 16 year old granddaughter Maddie came to visit us in Taos for a week. One day my wife was involved with something in Taos, so I decided I'd drive up to Angel Fire with Maddie and look around and have lunch. When she returned home, she emailed back that our outing to Angel Fire was one of her favorite parts of her visit to New Mexico". I had a really nice time that day, too. - J. R. Ransom
