 Cenk Uygur "The Pentagon did an exhaustive search of over 600,000 documents found in the files of Saddam Hussain's government in Iraq to see if there was any links between Saddam Hussain and Al Qaida.
"They took a long ass time trying desperately to find any kinda link at all. The conclusion is out... none, zero, zip, zilch. No connection between Saddam Hussain and Al Qaida at all.
"In fact, Al Qaida tried to work with Saddam Hussain and Saddam Hussain said 'No'. He was secular and he was wary of Islamic extremists because he thought they might topple his government. He didn't do it out of the goodness of his heart..."
