2 Historical Videos of Ouray Meyers as interviewed by Jussta in Taos, New Mexico in his Spirit Runner Gallery back in the late 1980's.
With watercolors and oils, Ouray paints the landscape and the people of Taos. He bathes these subjects in that particular quality of light which is so characteristic of Taos. And into his paintings, he pours his belief in the ineffable spirit which resides in this special place.
Jussta continues to interview Ouray Meyers who is known for his beautiful Southwest Paintings.
His father, Ralph Meyers, was the first Indian trader in Taos, New Mexico. Ralph, was also an artist and some of his paintings are shown as well.
Ouray also reminisces about other famous artists he knew in the art colony of Taos.
