The new Joomla portal engine will allow us to deploy some of the very latest features available for ease of use and viewer enjoyment. Furthermore, the taosplaza.com site continues to grow every day with movies and articles directly from Taos and topics of interest to my friends in Taos.

The new taosplaza.com is now divided up the sections and categories in a more logical way. There are now 3 sections - video, articles, and features. Another section or two may be added later - news and others.

Within the section 'Videos' are topical categories with topics such as 'Activities'. The Video section has informative well-made video movies from dozens of sources and a wide range of topics ranging from local Taos happenings to very intense national and global issues.

The Articles section also features the same type of topical category breakdown.

The Feature section could be called 'Just For Fun' because it has interesting things like Daily Horoscope, Daily Ski Reports, a 'beam it up to a UFO' game, weather report for Taos, a little module to display the current moon phase. Also each section has it's own unique navigation menu.

A handy new features is that the titles are now clickable to see the rest of the item. Also, just to provide the global tracking of taosplaza.com, there is a module displaying visitors countries.

This work has been done on the technology of taosplaza.com so that it will be better and easier and faster to post tons of global-interest online content. The United Kingdom, German, Denmark and several other countries provided the tech.

In the long run, we're hoping to install a module and component that will overthrow evil corrupt regimes and help replace them with benign people friendly regimes.
