Second of two sections of the video (11min 25sec) Navajos & Palestinians Intertwine in Gallup is about the New Mexico city of Gallup. Dave Marash visits the town where Navajo and Palestinian traditions intertwine in the world of arts and crafts.

Larry Anderson: "Many of these traders hire Indian people to produce these jeweleries in mass quantity. And so the whole intention of this is not real no more. It's fake."

Marash: "On the reservation where there are simply too few 'first jobs', almost everybody's 'second job' is making or selling arts & crafts..." Often the differences between the Navajo artists and the Palestinian traders have less to do with a collision of interests than they do with the near miss of completely different 'world views'..."
