Unnatural Selection - Genetically Modified Organisms Video - Part 6. This stunning European documentary video (8min 55sec) is being made available for the first time in the US. It reveals several harsh consequences of genetic engineering worldwide.
In Tromso, Norway, 400 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle Terje Traavic, one of the few scientists worldwide who is not on the industry payroll, is doing research on the effects of genetically modified food on the health of humans and animals.
Professor Terje Traavic: "When an organism, like fish, is eating genetically modified fish, then we don't know what happens next.., um consumer comes in. The fish is eating genetically modified food. You will eat the fish. Now to which extent the genetically modified food has changed the fish, or to which extent there is genetically modified DNA present in a fish, to which extent you will be exposed to this in the next instance, there is no experimental data to indicate what happens in a case like that..."
