Tibetan exiles agree to follow 'middle path'

The Associated Press DHARMSALA, India - Delegates say that exiled Tibetan leaders meeting on how to advance their struggle for freedom have agreed to keep following the Dalai Lama's path of compromise with China. Tenzin Tsundue, 33, a poet and participant in the meeting says, "we are going to go ahead with middle path policy." The Dalai Lama's approach pushes for autonomy for Tibet but not independence from China. Tsundue says that if the Chinese government persists in not granting the region autonomy then they will review their stance. But no time has been set for such a review.
