New Mexico Airlines Should Fly to Taos. There's a neat new airline called New Mexico Air (NMA). Right now, New Mexico Air flies between Albuquerque, Carlsbad, Hobbs, and Santa Fe. NMA would also like to fly to Taos. That's a great idea! Many people miss having airline service with regularly scheduled flights to Albuquerque. Here's how you can take action to help.
Pattee Brown writes: "...Marc Coan has worked very diligently with a number of other very hard working people to try and secure an airline that will do shuttle service in and out of Taos and he is in the final decision making process with New Mexico Airlines. There is much to be said about this company, including the fact that they are out of other smaller towns and have a way of differing their costs, thereby making their ability to be successful out of Taos much more promising than previous airlines.
"Please note... this has NOTHING to do with the current debate on airport
expansion... this is simply trying to bring flight service BACK to Taos.
"One of the important aspects for this airline is that they feel the
community is behind them and will support them. Therefore, Marc has
asked that people send him letters of support that he will forward onto
their company.
"I have attached the letter I am sending to Marc in case
any of you are interested in helping make sure Taos has a service that
will fly to and from Albuquerque airport. (I think it goes other places,

To Whom It May Concern:
I am a resident of Taos County and have lived here for just under 5 years. Often I travel in and out of Taos on business and for pleasure and have had to take ground shuttle service or had to drive myself to Albuquerque to get to the airport. I also drive to areas in Colorado quite a bit.
I am sending this letter as a means of showing my support for having an airline fly in and out of Taos. I have many friends and family that visit Taos throughout the year and I am certain they too will use the airline to get in and out of Taos when arriving in New Mexico.
Thank you for considering Taos as one of your places to do business. We need your services and as a concerned citizen I will do my best to support your business and tell everyone I know about your services.
