 Living on the mesa west of Taos, New Mexico is a gratifying experience. But let's not forget the heat and dust of June, the winter winds and the cold of February. For these conditions some "mesa monkeys" have decided to shelter themselves in a beatifully made Sioux Tipi.
Nothing could complement a Tipi better, than a photovoltaic solar panel. Witness first hand as the Solar Tipi is erected on the Taos Mesa. Five hours in forty five seconds. The tipi in this video was made in Bend Oregon by Tipi Nomadics. They have made more than 18,000 tipis in 34 years in business.
