In the Bihar state of northern India, flooding has left people with two choices: endure diarrhea and fierce abdominal pain, or risk getting bitten by poisonous snakes. Such is the state of this flood-ravaged region, with an impending health care crisis compounding the disastrous flooding, and only one hospital to serve a region of 300,000 people. David Darg of Operation Blessing is on the ground, and sends this report from the frontlines of this urgent battle. "...Eighteen days of continual rains came down over the Himayalan Mountains and flooded through Nepal into India are are now draining out through Bangladesh. And the whole region is completely devastated. It's estimated that up to 50 million people are being affected..."
