Video (6min 44sec) of Francisco "Cisco" Guevara owner of Los Rios River Runners. Los Rios is New Mexico's oldest and most experienced river rafting company. Cisco Guevara is a representative of the New Mexico River Outfitter's Association. River rafting as a recreation started as an offshoot of the Manhattan Project when they were building The Bomb at Los Alamos, because they brought people from all over the world especially from Europe to work on the bomb. Some of those people had white water boating skills. They started looking around, on their days off, to see if there's anything in the southwestern desert that was floatable and they found the Rio Grande...
