The creek is short, steep, shallow and fast. The Pueblo Creek keeps kayakers on their toes. "The Pueblo floats out of Taos mountains through the town of Taos across the mesa and then drops pretty much straight down 3 miles to the confluence witht the Rio Grande. The first two miles are varied class 3 and 4..., a 5 or 2 thrown in..., and then the last mile is full on class 5..., up to class 5 plus at certain levels. It's super fast, super shallow, not many eddys. We're just going to show you the last mile...."
