Hanuman Temple One of the most visited but rarely mentioned as a
tourist destination in Taos is the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram. This
tranquil space with very beautiful gardens is a place where those in
the know go to take a breather while travelling in the southwest.
There's nothing to 'do' here which is part of the charm of this place.
Inside the ashram is a temple with an exquisite statue of Hanuman.
Hanuman is a very revered figure in Hinduism and there could well be at
least a million 'Hanuman temples' in the world. The Taos Hanuman statue
is very unique in He is flying. This is very rare among Hanuman statues
because three styles seem to predominate among the tens of millions of
Hanumans in temples and homes out there. |

Machu Picchu, Peru In the first
global election ever held people have selected the New Seven Wonders of the
World. After months of heavy worldwide voting the New Seven
Wonders of the World were announced on July 7th, 2007 (07-07-07) by The
New7Wonders Foundation, which is the body behind the New7Wonders
campaign. The New7Wonders Foundation has the express aim of
documenting, maintaining, restoring and reconstructing world heritage
under the motto: 'Our heritage is our future.' The New7Wonders
Foundation calls on all citizens of the world to
support it. Through film, television, the Internet and books,
people
shall be alerted to the destruction of nature and the decay of our
man-made heritage. Monuments in jeopardy, perhaps in a dangerous state
of decay, can be saved by publicizing their beauty and highlighting
their plight to the international community.

Art & Spirituality Art and Spirituality By Beau Smith. What is the relationship between art and spirituality? We know there is one, but can we articulate it? An artist might say he is dedicated to his art. Does that connote spirituality? Is the art his spiritual path? Many would not take him seriously – yes, one honors the artist’s choice to dedicate himself to art. But dedication to one’s work does not necessarily a spiritual path make. Or does it? “I’m dedicated to my art.” Pshaw, many would say, and, don’t take it so seriously.

Golf: What It Takes Golf - What It Really Takes By Robert
Ryles. Until you have actually tried to play golf, you are
unlikely to really understand its appeal. I mean all you need to do is
hit a little white ball down a stretch of grass known as a fairway and
putt it into a hole.
What is so difficult about that? Well believe me, the word
easy is as far away as you can imagine and frustrating seems to linger
as an excellent description of the game. Ask anyone who plays.
