1. No Drug
Potential
Industrial hemp was once widely grown throughout the Midwestern United
States, and today is still utilized as an industrial resource in many
countries around the world. In fact, feral descendants of the finest
quality industrial hemp still thrive in scattered pockets throughout
the Midwestern United States. Industrial hemp is known to produce
exceedingly low amounts of THC (drug), and extremely high amounts of
CBD (non-drug). For example, the industrial hemp currently growing wild
(feral) throughout the Midwestern United States has a THC
'concentration that is less than 0. 10 %, and a CBD concentration
greater than 2.5 %. Thus. industrial hemp has no drug potential. |

 Altitude Sickness
Altitude illness is usually preventable if ascent is slow. This is not
possible for skiers who proceed directly to, and sleep at ski areas.
Persons travelling above 8,000 feet (which includes Taos Ski Valley,
Red River and Angel Fire) are most likely to be symptomatic.
The chances increase to about 15% when sleeping above 8,000 feet. Being in excellent physical condition has no bearing on one's ability to acclimate to altitude. |

 Poison Shampoos?

I looked at my bottle of shampoo today and my hair stood on end before I even washed it. The front label states "Vitamin E Moisture Rich Shampoo - Professional performance formula", but what I read on the back made me wonder about the volume of potential poisons I've been flushing into the environment over the last 3 decades, simply through washing my hair.
Having a blackwater system now for recycling our household waste water has also made me a little more conscious about this kind of thing. |

 Global Warming

Human activities, without doubt, are the cause of global warming; and we are responsible for stopping global warming, especially because it is a possible thing to do. Stopping global warming is not only a possible thing to do, but it is a mandatory thing that every single individual in the world should participate in. We are facing a global problem, which means that there are a lot of us who need to be educated on the issue of global warming in order to make the changes necessary in order to reverse the problem at hand. |

 Romantic Love

One of the biggest influences in today’s relationships is based on a misunderstanding. If you ask people what love is, the most common response is that “love is a feeling.” As long as we define love as an emotional state, marriages are at risk. Surprised? The reason why most people define love in that manner is that movies, songs, and novels tend to characterize in that way. The romantic idea that one can fall in love with another person that she has never met is a wonderful fantasy. But if you back up a minute and think about it, does it really make sense? |
