 Pro Union But remember the parable about those ignoring history repeating it. As noted in last week's column, the methods of Ludlow are being celebrated in our foreign policy. But they are also being trumpeted at home.
The Bush administration has abandoned American workers. While not sending militias to execute labor organizers, the feds now look away as corporations kill unions before they are ever born. And today many states are replicating that anti-union model.

 Banana Laborer Sanitized history teaches that our government has since changed. Quite the contrary, as the Bush administration last week moved to legitimize the methods of Ludlow through its Colombia Free Trade Agreement.
Colombia resembles Colorado in the early 20th century, only with more frequent slaughters. In the past two decades, more than 2,500 Colombian labor organizers have been assassinated, making Colombia the world's most dangerous place for unionists.

 Want Buyers?
First you take a product that sells well. Then you make it better. If you are good at this, you will be able to locate products that not only sell well, but are poorly made, poorly marketed and have a so-so message.
Once you find one of these, you test the product to make sure that you can sell it and still make money. How? You find a product that pays an affiliate commission. You then use Pay Per Click advertising such as Google Adwords to generate traffic to the sales page.
Once you prove that you can sell the product at a profit (your sales exceed the cost of the Adwords fees) you are ready to make it better. |

The true cost of downtime can be significant, and includes many things other than just lost revenue from lost orders. Increased (and expensive) customer service time, refunded and cancelled orders, loss of customer loyalty, and opportunity loss associated with handling the outage itself can be tremendously expensive. |
