Video: Solar Music Fest Producer Dawn Richardson. Interview with Dawn Richardson, who along with Dan Sherman, is producer of Taos Solar Music Fest. Taos Solar Music Fest held each summer at Kit Carson Park in central Taos. The video was taped by Glenn Pike of taosdiary.com after the 2006 festival.

"...We had people here from over 25 states. That was just from our Web sale tickets alone, and from Canada. I think we can safely say we are an international festival. We finally made the grade, we got out of the United States.

"Well except for our performers who've always come from all over the world... So we're real happy. We're still trying to find out what's happening, obviously, at this point, but it was a great show. I do know that people were very happy about the music..."

Video (7min 44sec): Native American Women of RC Gorman. This video takes you through the marvelous world of R. C. Gorman's art.

Rudolph Carl Gorman (July 26, 1931 - November 3, 2005) was a Native American artist of the Navajo nation. Referred to as "the Picasso of American art" by the New York Times, his paintings are primarily of Native American women and characterized by fluid forms and vibrant colors, though he also worked in sculpture, ceramics, and stone lithography. He was also an avid lover of cuisine, authoring four cookbooks, (with accompanying drawings) called Nudes and Food. His famous friends and collectors of his work included Elizabeth Taylor, Danny DeVito, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Barry Goldwater, Gregory Peck, Erma Bombeck, Lee Marvin, Jackie Onassis and even fellow artist Andy Warhol, who silk-screened a portrait of Gorman that hung in his bathroom.

Gorman moved from California to New Mexico, opening his Navajo Gallery in Taos in 1968. It was the first Native American-owned art gallery.

Barack Obama
Video Commentary (5min 58sec): Best Part of Barack Obama's Father's Day Speech not Covered in the News. "Obama's Father's Day speech, it was given at Apostolic Church of God on Chicago's South Side. There was a heavy dose of religion. There was a heavy dose of responsibility. He addressed it somewhat to the black community but that is being over-hyped a little bit. It was broader than that. It was to all fathers, in a sense and how we should be in society. So I want to read you a couple of paragraphs from the speech we couldn't find anywhere else and let you judge how good it was. OK?

"Sometimes I go to an eighth grade graduation and there's all that pomp and circumstance and gowns and flowers and I think to myself, 'It's just eighth grade.' To really compete, they need to graduate high school and they need to graduate college and they probably need a graduate degree too. An eighth grade education doesn't cut it today. Let's give them a handshake and tell them to get their butts back in the library. It's up to us as fathers and parents to instill this ethic of excellence in our children.

Video (3min 29sec): Citigroup's Real Problem. Citigroup says the financial supermarket created in the 1998 merger was never fully integrated. Citigroup now has the tough task of selling $400 billion in "hobby" businesses.

"I have to read this because it's important that I get this exactly right. This is what Vikram Pandit, the new CEO of Citigroup told a gathering of 300 Wall Street Analysts in the first week of May. 'The infrastructure of of this company has never been fully integrated.' Now he tells us.

"Ten years after the merger that put together Citigroup - putting together the brokerage firms and the insurance companies and a bank there were going to create this incredible financial super market. Ten years after that it turns out that nobody ever did the hard work of putting all the pieces together..."

Video in 3 Parts: Video: Bugliosi Calls for Bush Murder Prosecution. Citing Iraq War, Renowned Attorney Vincent Bugliosi Seeks "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" Vincent Bugliosi is one of the most successful prosecutors in this country, with a record including twenty-one murder convictions without a single loss. With a new book, he outlines his case for the prosecution of George W. Bush for murder.

Part 1 (10min 15sec): VINCENT BUGLIOSI: Well, in my book, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, I set forth an airtight legal case against George Bush that proves beyond all reasonable doubt that George Bush took this nation to war under false pretenses, on a lie, in Iraq, and therefore, under the law, he is guilty of murder for the deaths of over 4,000 young American soldiers in Iraq fighting his war, not your war or my war or America’s war, but his war.
