Jack Canfield - Author What You Resist Persists Video (3min 6sec) - What you resist, persist. What you fight you get more of, Carl Jung, 1875-1961. So no fighting poverty, but wealth creation. "We notice that there are so many people who are living life in a conditional way. They look out and they see things that are wonderful and they say, 'Yes, we want more of those. We would vote for that. We would support that with our time and energy and money.' But then they look out and see things they don't want, terrible things that they do not want to live and that they do not want to see others live. And they say, 'We've got to do something about getting rid of those things.' But they don't realize as they push against the unwanted they add power to it..." "Mother Teresa was brilliant. She said, 'I will never attend an anti-war rally. If you have a peace rally, invite me.' She knew. She understood the secret..." |

Robin Eiko Yoshida Feng Shui How-to Video (5min 32sec), with Angi Ma Wong, Cynthia D. Butler, and Robin Eiko Yoshida, tells you that you can add balance, tranquility and harmony to your home through the use of Feng Shui techniques. In ancient times as well as today, Feng shui, pronounced in English as "fung shway", was known as "Kan-Yu" which means 'The Law of Heaven and Earth.’ Today's Feng Shui schools teach that it is the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to achieve harmony with the environment. Feng shui literally translates as "wind-water." This is a cultural shorthand taken from the following passage of the Zhangshu (Book of Burial) by Guo Pu of the Jin Dynasty. Feng shui is a discipline with guidelines that are compatible with many techniques of architectural planning. Space, weather, astronomy, and geomagnetism are basic components of feng shui. However, many believe there are unexplainable scientific factors involved and so consider it a metaphysical art. Proponents claim that feng shui has an effect on health, wealth, and personal relationships. |

Gore Vidal Video (7min 15sec): Gore Vidal on the Media - Have TV journalists learned anything from the last several years? Says Vidal: "Everybody with an IQ above room temperature is on to the con act of our media. They are obeying bigger, richer interests than informing the public -- which is the last thing that corporate America has ever been interested in doing." "It's when the news starts to break how two elections (2000, 2004) were stolen and the New York Times would not review the book written about it by Congressman Conyers, nor the Washington Post, nor The Wall Street Journal. The great instruments of news were silent. Well, what they're saying is 'we don't give a God-damn about the United States. Just stew in your own juice. Just leave us alone. We have corporate figures to add up now, and ah we have certain things we want to put in place. We may have a couple of candidates for you dumb-dumbs, but you probably won't like them.' You know, I've been around the ruling class all my life and I've been quite aware of their total contempt for the people of the country..." |
