Carville & Bill
Video (10min 15sec): Bill Richardson Supports Obama While Attacked By Carville On CNN. Larry King allowed Governor Richardson and James Carville to go at each other over Richardson's endorsement of Senator Obama -- which Carville compared to "a Judas move."

Richardson defended and stood by his endorsement of Obama -- feeling even more confident now (April 23) that Obama was the best Democrat to be the next president of the US. A very contentious and interesting exchange of pleasantries between the Ragging Cajun and one of America's most respected governors!

Governor Bill Richardson: "I had a larger loyalty to the country, to doing what's right for America. I think that Obama's the candidate that can bring us back together, so, it's typical of the negativity that the Clinton's are using now against Senator Obama..."

Fenix Gallery
Fenix Gallery
Video (1min 46sec): Fenix Gallery. "Since 1989, the Fenix Gallery has been the home for a group of artists predominantly from Taos. This gallery aspires to show artists who live and work in Taos and wish to be here simply because they are here. And maybe they do have markets elsewhere, but this is their home. And so we proudly have their work.

"The gallery chose mainly mid career artists but also some deceased artists now and historically well known artists and sometimes very emerging artists.

"A year ago the gallery moved to this very historic building purportedly built in the 1700s... It's very classic adobe with a long portal and has been beautifully renovated. But more pertinent to its home now, from 1937 until '53, a woman ran this as the first contemporary art gallery in Taos and she showed the artists, many of whom are now considered or called 'The Taos Moderns'..."

Clinton Going On O'Reilly and Bashing Obama. "A McCain adviser said, about what Hillary Cinton is doing to Obama: "It's mana from heaven".

"I mean, it's a gift they couldn't possibly have expected that fell in their lap. She's trying to rip him to shreds. Thay don't have to do a thing about it and they can turn around, and 'what? what? Hillary Clinton said it.'

"Hillary Clinton went on the Bill O'Reilly Show... O'Reilly says to Hillary Clinton, well ya know (he going into this long thing about her and Obama), 'Obama's more liberal than you are." See what's happened is the Republicans have decided that Hillary Clinton has no chance of winning. Barack Obama'a going to be the candidate. While Hillary Clinton's still around, let's use her to attack Obama every way we can..."

"A convoy of protesting truckers cicled the national mall in Washington, D. C. on tuesday as part of a rally petitioning Congress to address rapidly rising oil prices.

Gas prices reached and average of three US dollar and sixty cents a gallon, or sixty-six cents higher than one year ago. Oil futures rose to their own new record near $120 a barrel on Monday.

Milton Whitaker, truck driver: "This is about the people in the White House. We've got to get a handle on these oil companies. They're raking us over the coals."

"The truckers are calling on Congress to stop subsidizing big oil companies, release oil from the strategic petroleum reserves, and and open up domestic drilling among other things..."

So You Think You're Doing It Tough Video Print E-mail

Born Into Debt
Born Into Debt
In this video (2min 33sec), 'So You Think You're Doing It Tough', there's a tongue in cheek beginning with an Aussie slant, but a serious message for us all. This is a great satirical video as a follow-up to the 2007 hit Teenage Affluenza.

So you think you're doing it tough? What with all that school everyday and the packed lunches - compare our lucky lives to the 200 million children around the world who didn't go to school today - they went to work.

Day in, day out. Born into debt, forced to work and denied an education.

In India alone there's over 60 million children in child labour - three times the population of Australia. Why is it that in our world the country of your birth determines the course of your life? Isn't is time to do something real?
