Wrongly Convicted WWII Vets Cleared, Honored

Just hours before he died last month, Samuel Snow finally got his wish. The Army formally apologized to the World War II vet and affirmed his honorable discharge. NPR's Tony Cox speaks with journalist Jack Hamann, author of On American Soil, and Lashell Drake, granddaughter of one of the exonerated veterans.

Judge Removed From Jena Six Case

A new judge has been appointed to hear the cases against five of the remaining Jena Six defendants. Last Friday, J.P. Mauffray Jr. — the judge presiding over the case — was removed for making biased remarks. NPR's Tony Cox gets an update.

Earlier this year I described my night at the Capitol Hill Club, the exclusive private watering hole for Republican elected officials and their supporters, primarily lobbyists. The club boasts a variety of restaurants and bars, like the "75 Room" which a brochure describes as a "superb venue for viewing House and Senate deliberations, small meetings, relaxing between appointments, or catching up on your messages."
