The next two decades will see a world living with the daily threat of nuclear war, environmental catastrophe and the decline of America as the dominant global power, according to a frighteningly bleak assessment by the US intelligence community. BSP keeps interest rates unchanged to support peso, keep prices down By JIMMY CALAPATI The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas kept interest rates steady yesterday for a second month in a row, maintaining support for the flagging peso even as other central banks globally cut rates to head off the global financial crisis.
