Vanishing Bees
Vanishing Bees
Farmers in the United States say they are growing increasingly concerned about a mysterious shortage of honeybees. The U.S. government says it is investigating a dramatic decline in the bee population over recent months, and Congress has held a hearing on the issue.

According to The Seattle Times: Fully a third of the entire U.S. food supply depends on bees for pollination, from melons to cucumbers, cranberries to apples, and nearly the entire world supply of almonds, according to the National Research Council.

Mark Bent's BoGo Light
BoGo Light
Video (2min 42sec) about the amazing BoGo solar powered flashlight that will soon change the lives of millions of people living in developing countries. First of all, this flashlight is just great for the environment. Secondly, it is a huge benefit for millions of people living in darkness, as well as those in America and Europe with electricity 24/7. 2 billion people are without access to affordable, healthy light at night. 1.6 million die each year from bio-mass inhalation. 100 kilos of carbon gas from one kerosene lantern each year. Billions of batteries are discarded annually in the U. S. alone.

Watch the Chemtrails
Contrails or Chemtrails? Good Bye Blue Sky. Taos is a great place to observe Chemtrails, but no one has made a local video yet. This video (10min 00sec) is from North County San Diego. Feb 07. Many people in Taos watch the skies and see these chemtrails being sprayed all around us. Clearly something is going on, but what exactly is that? More and more people are pointing their video cameras toward the sky to document what they are seeing, and turning to the Web to share information. There is some sort of serious question about just what these things are. Why are the skies clear for days and then suddenly another day filled with dozens of chemtrails that are not in any normal flight-paths? Keep watching the sky, friends. Maybe you can help answer these questions.

Christina Sporong of Taos, NM who runs her truck on biodiesel.
Christina & Betty
Video (2min 19sec) of Christina Sporong of Taos, NM who runs her truck on biodiesel. "Well what's great about it is you use less of the fossil fuel and the emissions are significantly less, so you're running a cleaner truck. You can get biodiesel from people around town here who have big tanks, like 300 gallon tanks, and you can just buy in to their share. Or you can buy it at the pump down in Santa Fe. B20 they sell there. B20 means it's twenty percent biodiesel, meaning 20% processed vegetable oil. Usually you can get B20, B50 and B100... B100 in the winter is problematic because it congeals. So we use mainly B50 out here..." Biodiesel refers to a diesel-equivalent, processed fuel derived from biological sources (such as vegetable oils), which can be used in unmodified diesel-engined vehicles. It is thus distinguished from the straight vegetable oils (SVO) or waste vegetable oils (WVO) used as fuels in some modified diesel vehicles.
