Ram Dass Ram Dass "Awareness" video (6min 56sec) engages you into a moment regarding your choice and arrangement of your birth and death. And outlays an understanding towards the embodiment of awareness.
"We as souls prepare our own births, deaths, and in between. It's such an exquisite mechanism. Can you imagine you have picked mother and father. Picked the time in history we were to live. You've even picked the people you walked by on the street. And so have all the rest of us. And so we interact... You have...
The best way to live life is as a soul dancing in and out of your incarnation. A witness. A witness of both internal and external things. We are awareness. You are an awareness and I am an awareness. And our awareness is not separate. Not separate. And awareness is one name for God. |

El Santuario Video (3min 5sec) of still photos. Believed to be built on sacred earth with miraculous healing powers, the legendary shrine El Santuario de Chimayó, is probably the most visited church in New Mexico. The crucifix which began the original shrine still resides on the chapel alter, but for some reason its curative powers have been overshadowed by El Posito, the "sacred sand pit" from which it sprang. Each year during Holy Week thousands of people make a pilgrimage to Chimayó to visit the Santuario and take away a bit of the sacred dirt. Pilgrims walk a few yards or a hundred miles. Chimayó is located 40 miles south of Taos and 24 miles northeast of Santa Fe, about ten miles east of Espanola in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Construction of the church shown in the photo was completed between 1814 and 1816. |

Pain or Light? Intriguing and very well done video (3min 37sec) about Kabbalah that will give you some interesting things to think about. We have biological weapons that could kill us all; We have bombs that could not only destroy this planet but our sun and the solar system. Tell me, why do we have these things? What are they for? "I'll bet you think you got me stumped..., but there's one destination in life and two paths leading there. The destination is complete perfection and fulfillment, but we reach it either slowly by the path of pain or in an accelerated and pleasant way by the path of light and transformation. Now, the path of pain isn't really a path at all. It's just an accumulation of puzzling events in life that happen to us because we are not consciously involved in our development. It's the slow painful grinding evolution that we call 'history' that started, I don't know, somewhere and is taking us 'God knows where'. The Path of Light and Transformation is the path by which we discover our own nature and the nature of the force that's guiding us... The path of Pain is really the evolution of EGOISM over millenia..." |

Barry Sanders Lovely video (3min 27sec) about Golden Willow Retreat Center, in Arroyo Hondo, Taos County, New Mexico, a nonprofit counseling center that serves individuals, families, and communities experiencing grief. Funding made possible by the Johnson & Johnson/ Rosalynn Carter Caregivers Institute will allow the center to focus on education and support for young children and teens who serve as caregivers. The goal of this program is to help children develop empathy for others and to assume the natural role of “caregivers of the future.” Through a series of caregiving services and training, it is hoped that this program will influence thousands of individuals and families in need, as well as the caregivers who serve them. "In looking at these problems from a research perspective, there was no information, there was nothing about teenage caregivers. We wanted to know, as musch as we wanted to serve. So the combination was what led us to seek out Rosiline Carter Institute..." |
