on voluntary donations in many countries.
In 1949, one name dominated the headlines: Bruno Groening. Extra editions were
printed about him. There were also radio and newsreel reports. A movie
was filmed. Everywhere he appeared hundreds, thousands, even tens of
thousands people flocked to see him. They came from all over Germany,
Austria, Switzerland, but also from Belgium, France, and the USA.

 Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa is cofounder and director of Golden Bridge Yoga, the premier Kundalini Yoga center in Los Angeles, California, and New York City. In 1972, she was baptized by her spiritual teacher Yogi Bhajan with the Sikh spiritual name "Gurmukh," meaning "one who helps people across the world ocean." Since that time, Gurmukh has dedicated her life to fulfilling her namesake.
For nearly three decades, students in Los Angeles and from around the world have sought out her classes in Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and pre-and post-natal care, and she currently works closely with the Amrit Davaa World Health Organization to bring much needed medical supplies and attention to orphanages in India, Tibet, and Mexico. |

 Pema Chodron "Trungpa Rinpoche is famous for a quote where he said, 'The job of the spiritual friend is to insult you. And if you ask why that's so, it's because in order to become a completely loving person, a flexible person you have to see where you're hookable.
"You have to see where your shempa arises so that you can work with it. So, in the Vijiana tradition there's actually a whole practice and teaching that you can do which is called 'heightened neurosis' where you actually..., the situation is created by certain practices you do where your neurosis gets heightened to you. And the idea is if you don't see it, if you don't first see where you're hookable and where you get provoked, with a complete honesty and directness without guilt but just a straight look at where you get stuck..." |

 Sathya Sai Baba Sathya Sai Baba is a South Indian guru, religious leader, orator and described by his followers - not uncontroversially - as a Godman and a miracle worker. According to Sathya Sai Organization there are an estimated 1,200 Sathya Sai Baba Centers in 114 countries world-wide.
The number of Sathya Sai Baba adherents is estimated sometimes as around 6 million, and followers cite "50 to 100 million". He is considered by his followers to be an avatar and the reincarnation of the saint Sai Baba of Shirdi. Sathya Sai Baba's followers report miracles and healings of various kinds that they attribute to him. Sathya Sai Baba's devotees believe that he relieves his devotees by transfering their pain to himself. |
