Karl Rove Attempt at 'Citizens Arrest' of Rove.
Anti-war protestors try to confront long-time Bush advisor - Friday, July 25, 2008, 3:22 PM - By O.Kay Henderson
Four peace activists were arrested in Des Moines today as they tried to make a "citizens arrest" of Karl Rove, the long-time political advisor to President Bush. "It should be Karl Rove in that van. War Criminal!" one of the protesters shouted as the four were rounded up by cops. "Where's there justice in this country?"
Rove was in Des Moines to speak at a private fundraiser for the Republican Party of Iowa. The protesters let the police know of their wish to make a "citizens arrest" of Rove, then police arrested the four as they stepped beyond the gate at the entrance to the private Wakonda Club where Rove was speaking. Eighty-year-old Chet Guinn, a retired Methodist minister, was among those led away. "To be silent when major crimes are being committed against all humanity makes us accomplices," Gwinn told reporters just before his arrest. |

Vincent Bugliosi The Prosecution of George W Bush for Murder by Vincent Bugliosi. "That the king can do no wrong is a necessary and fundamental principle of the English constitution." -Sir William Blackstone,
Commentaries on the Laws of England, 1765. No living Homo sapiens is above the law. - (Notwithstanding our good friends and legal ancestors across the water, this is a fact that requires no citation.)
With respect to the position I take about the crimes of George Bush, I want to state at the outset that my motivation is not political. Although I've been a longtime Democrat (primarily because, unless there is some very compelling reason to be otherwise, I am always for "the little guy"), my political orientation is not rigid. For instance, I supported John McCain's run for the presidency in 2000. More to the point, whether I'm giving a final summation to the jury or writing one of my true crime books, credibility has always meant everything to me. Therefore, my only master and my only mistress are the facts and objectivity. I have no others. This is why I can give you, the reader, a 100 percent guarantee that if a Democratic president had done what Bush did, I would be writing the same, identical piece you are about to read. |

Dwight D. Eisenhower Astrology & The 2008 US Presidential Election - 1952 Deja Vu? By Steven Mark Weiss.
'There is a spiritual hunger in the world today - and it cannot be satisfied by better cars on longer credit terms.' - Adlai E. Stevenson (1952 / Democratic Presidential Candidate)
'I despise people who go to the gutter on either the right or the left and hurl rocks at those in the center.' - Dwight D. Eisenhower (1952 / Republican Presidential Candidate)
Can you imagine Barack Obama uttering the first quote? What about John McCain as the deliverer of the second? Neither is a stretch, is it?
A recent business event at which gifted political pundits Tucker Carlson and James Carville squared off for some lively chat about the upcoming election brought this thought to light. It was Carville, a Hillary supporter who now puts her prospects of becoming the Democratic nominee as akin to drawing to a 16 in blackjack, who noted that an Obama - McCain duel resonates with nothing so much as the Stevenson vs. Eisenhower election of 1952.

Energy Crisis America's Growing Energy Crisis by Dave Brooks. August, 2005: I read an online article this morning about a war games simulation conducted in America showing how fuel prices could soar as a result of certain events, such as terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia and Alaska, political instability in Nigeria and other scenarios. In short, fuel supplies would be choked, the cost of oil would soar to $120 per barrel, gas would rise to $5.30 per gallon and the U.S. would slide into an economic recession.
April, 2008: Fuel is trading at a record high of approximately $118 per barrel and the national average price for a gallon of gas is $3.56.
August, 2005: Let's put this in perspective, current fuel prices in Iceland are approximately 110 kronur per liter. At todays rate of exchange of 64 krona per dollar, the cost of a gallon of gasoline in Iceland is $6.43. Talk about crisis level prices! The current U.S. national average for gasoline is $2.21 per gallon that would be 37.8 kronur per liter. If we saw this price at our local gas station, we would be shocked by the amazing deal being offered. We would immediately fill our gas tank to the top and then alert all of our friends. The crisis level price of $5.30/gallon as stated in this article,
correlates to approximately 91 kronur per liter. This would still be considered a deal. |

George W. Bush Are Republicans Thugs? by Bob Miller. In order to answer the question, Are Republicans Thugs?, it'll take coming to grips with the fact that the Republican Party is not the same party one's grandparents voted for.
To grasp what has taken place, one must understand that from the late 1800s thru the mid-1900s, the Democratic Party was controlled by the unions in the United States.
At that time, the US manufactured 90% of the goods Americans used and 30% of those used in other countries; the Democrats ruled through labor. Although there was enough lies and stealing going on to tilt Earth on its axis, the jobs and money stayed in the United States. That made for a very strong country and dollar. |
