There is no tax law. "The federal government itself refuses to provide the American people who are coercively being subjected to this extraction of their private property without any underlying legal justification. There is no law..., there is no law that requires the average American worker in the private sector to pay a direct un-apportioned tax on their labor and compensation for services. There is no law..." |

Peter DeFazio Fix US InfraStructure for 2 Weeks in Iraq Video (1min 18sec): Oregon Representative Peter DeFazio makes a very short pitch that illustrates one way the Iraq War helps to weaken America. Our grandchildren's children will be paying for this war, and suffering it's many other consequences at the same time. "...That's the attitude that brought about the bridge collapse in Minnesota. President Bush told us we couldn't have a penny more to invest in the infrastructure of this country, even though we knew crumbling. The Democrats had a list of all the insufficient bridges in the country, but the president said, "No, we can't afford it. Not a penny more. Do you know what it would cost to catch up with our bridge problem over the next twenty years? We'd have to invest a lot of money, an incredible amount of money. Two weeks in Iraq every year is what it would take to fix the bridge problem..." |

Dennis Kucinich Video (5min 12sec) of Dennis Kucinich, the only presidential candidate who voted against the Iraq War resolution, introduced articles of impeachment against Vice President Richard B. Cheney in the House of Representatives on April 24th. House Resolution 333 was drafted as a response to a Vice President who was "a driving force for taking us into war against Iraq under false pretenses and is once again rattling sabers of war against Iran..."
Three articles were crafted by the 10th district Ohio Congressman and Democratic presidential candidate that allege that Cheney: "...purposely manipulated the intelligence process to deceive the citizens and Congress of the United States...," for attempting to mislead Americans "...about an alleged relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda...," and "has openly threatened aggression against the Republic of Iran."

Barack Obama Video (5min 48sec) of Barack Obama speech on Taking Our Government Back, in Manchester, NH on June 22, 2007. "We cannot settle for a second 'gilded age' in America and yet we find ourselves once more in the middle of a new economy, where more wealth is in danger of falling into fewer hands, where the average CEO earns more in one day than an average worker earns in an entire year, where Americans are struggling like never before to their medical bills or their kids tuition or high gas prices all while the profits of the drug companies and the insurance companies and the oil industries have never been higher. And once again we're faced with the politics that makes all this possible. In the last six years our leaders have thrown open the doors of Congress and the White House to an army of Washington lobbyists who have turned our government into a game only they can afford to play..." |
