Video (4min 24sec): From NASA archives: Hundreds of UFO's Filmed From The Space Shuttle.

This video is the now famous tether incident which was filmed in space by the shuttle when a tether broke free from the shuttle and whilst they were filming this hundreds of UFO's appeared some of them over a mile long.

"The Shuttle Columbia in this mission was equipped with a very sophisticated and expensive ultraviolet camera. It was sensitive to the near ultraviolet. And when they were up at 300 miles above the atmosphere, they launched from the Columbia a small satellite with a tether. Not long after from the Columbia, the tether broke..."

Video (1min 31sec): Actual Footage UFO Chased By Russian Mig. UFO chased by a mig 21 in Russia.

We will be looking at the cockpit camera view. This time from the Mig-21. The camera plane and three others were scrambled to intercept an unknown craft flying at very high speed which is visible here as a large cylindrical shaped object.

And as the Russian planes close in the UFO suddenly picks up speed and disappears. You'll notice the cylinder seems to be traveling at the same speed as the Migs and then it seems to increase its speed which according to pilots must have reached Mach 3 in about 10 seconds...

Video (3min 52sec): Apollo 11 is the mission that put man on the moon. About half-way into the trip, the astronauts spotted a strange object. Buzz Aldrin talks about what they did and having to hide it from NASA to stop any panic. The UFO was never determined.

Obviously the three of us were not gonna blurt out 'hey, Houston, we got something movin' along side of us and we don't know what it is'. Ya know? 'Can you tell us what it is?'

We weren't about to do that. 'Cause we know that those transmissions would be heard by all sorts of people. And who knows what somebody woulda demanded? That we turn back because of aliens or whatever the reason is. So, we didn't do that, but we did decide we'd just cautiously ask Houston where, how far away was the S-IVB.

Jerome Clark: Researcher and writer. He attended South Dakota State University and Minnesota State University, becoming interested in the UFO phenomenon in the 1960s. He initially embraced the interdimensional hypothesis to explain UFOs, but then turned to Extraterrestrial Hypothesis as the best explanation. His focus is on UFO cases with multiple witnesses, or those which leave physical evidence. He is an active board member of CUFOS, and has served as the editor of the CUFOS  journal, as well as The Journal for UFO Studies. In the 1990s he published a massive three volume UFO Encyclopedia, which earned him the 1998 Benjamin Franklin                           
Award in the Science category. He has written and co-written several books on UFOs.
