Henri Cartier-Bresson, famed photographerInteresting Interview with famed photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson called "Just Plain Love" (Video 1:10:13).

What matters is to look. But people don't look. Most of them don't look. They press the button. They identify. But to seek the meaning, beyond this or this? Very few do it.

What does the eyes seek out? It's a question mark.

This was in the bathroom in my house. When my father saw this (photo of dogs copulating) he said, “Henri, you have sisters!" I didn't understand at all why he said that.

My mother campaigned to close the brothels. I said “Mother, the conversations there are more interesting than in your sitting room.”

My boy, a good Dominican confessor is all you need! I never had a Dominican confessor. I'd rather confess to the girls in the brothel, along with Pierre Josse and my other mates.

They were left wing Catholics, not.... You've heard of left-wing Catholics, haven't you? I imagine they still exist.

Then I left and went to Africa.

We live in a privileged world. You don't have to go far to notice a difference. We are nicely dressed. We should use it for something we believe in. One can be old and outraged. I ended up in jail. I was caught after running off. Twice I think.
